Editor: The Sense RTF Plugin enables Rich Text Format files to be Imported / Exported Between applications such a Microsoft Word and the Sense Document Editor.
Sense is an editor with a highly structured document format making it ideal for any task involving the preparation of material for presentations and essays.
Information may be organized into a hierarchy of Sections (Chapters) containing sub-sections, paragraphs and other document blocks.
This expandable / collapsible tree hierarchy allows Sense to be used as an effective personal two-pane Outliner with freestyle no-clutter editing in one pane and structural management from the other.
The Plugin allows you to use the right tool for outlining and then MOVE your work to any RTF compatible editor for finalising.
If you are writing an essay, then Sense provides a constant monitor of character, word and page counts: you can even selectively monitor counts within individual sections and paragraphs.
Shortcuts allow document blocks to be moved easily up, down and within sections while tight synchronization is maintained between the two document views.
And Sense allows you to select exactly what you need to print, even spatially dispersed material may be selected, saving on printing.
The RTF Plugin nicely Complements the Sense OPML and Tab /Space Text plugins allowing document preparation to commence from a variety of file formats.
When used to Import RTF files, the Plugin restructures the flat-file contents into Sections according to RTF outline levels (Microsoft Word headings).
Bookmarks, hyperlinks along with general styling is retained as closely as possible during both RTF Import and Export.
And Sense provides an encoding control should you need to match multilingual content to file output.
Installation is straightforward with no configuration.
